Howdy Friends:

I am leading a soundwalk on June7 during Issue Project Room’s Soundwalk–a-thon. We will be going into the Prospect Park Ravine ending at the OA Can factory in Gowanus to help Issue Project Room raise money for their new home in downtown Brooklyn. Please visit their site to sign up for my walk and pledge your support.

AND — I have other friends and colleagues who are also leading walks, so if my walk does not appeal to you, then, by all means, walk with them. The goal is to raise money! PLEASE SUPPORT THIS VITAL EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE VENUE — one of a dying breed!!!

Hello Friends:

This is your final chance to join me for the final soundwalk sponsored by the Canary Project this Sunday, October 5 at 5:30pm. The walk will be centered on the Gowanus area and will begin at the OA Can factory located at 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn. We will begin at 5:30pm (sharp!) to be followed by artists/experts presentations and an open forum on the urban soundscape. Did I say FREE BEER yet? Visit http://www.canary-project.org/project_4073.php for more details about this event and the Canary Project. This is the one NOT TO MISS!!! The Gowanus neighborhood is incredibly unique as is the OA Can Factory — both have a very interesting soundscape to say the least!!!

Hope to see you there!!!
